What AlignCube Is

AlignCube is a software-spend decision layer. You tell us what software your business pays for — AI tools, SaaS platforms, anything. We analyze them — cost, overlap, usage fit, redundancy — and give you a scored audit with actionable recommendations.

Think of it as a monthly financial review for your AI spending, run by software instead of a consultant. The output is a structured report: every tool scored Keep, Review, Cut, or Consolidate, with reasoning for each call.

The longer you use AlignCube, the more valuable it becomes. Each audit cycle adds to a running governance record — a history your team can review instead of reconstructing from spreadsheets.

What AlignCube Is Not

AlignCube does not:

• Execute purchases, cancellations, or vendor negotiations on your behalf
• Access your vendor accounts, billing portals, or contracts
• Guarantee any specific savings amount or outcome
• Replace human judgment in procurement decisions
• Provide legally binding compliance attestations

Every recommendation this platform generates is a starting point for your own decision-making, not a directive. Your team makes the final call.

How the Audit Works

The audit process has three steps:

1. Intake. You submit a list of your business tools — name, monthly cost, which team uses it, and what it's used for. AI tools, SaaS platforms, anything your team pays for. This is the only customer-provided data source used for the audit.
2. Analysis. AlignCube passes your intake data to a large language model (Claude, by Anthropic) along with a curated database of tool knowledge. The model scores each tool, identifies overlaps, flags gaps, and generates recommendations. How that database stays neutral: every entry is reviewed and approved by the founder from public sources; no vendor can pay for placement, ranking, or favorable treatment; and consolidation targets are chosen from your own stack, never from a partner list. AlignCube accepts no commissions or fees from any tool vendor.
3. Delivery. You receive a structured audit report — every tool scored with its reasoning and the full cut list, free. Monitor adds the operating layer: owner routing, approval packets, the evidence path, captured-savings tracking, up to 50 Advisor messages per day, and monthly re-checks.

Audits typically complete within 60–120 seconds depending on stack size.

AI Limitations and Accuracy

Specific limitations to be aware of:

• Stale tool knowledge. Our tool database is periodically updated but may not reflect recent pricing changes, feature additions, or vendor shutdowns.
• No usage data. We score tools based on what you tell us — not actual usage logs. A tool you describe as "used daily" will score differently than one you describe as "barely touched," but we cannot verify that independently.
• Context limits. The model does not know your vendor contracts, locked-in pricing, team dynamics, or institutional preferences. Recommendations that seem obvious on paper may be impractical for your organization.
• Model variability. Two audits of identical inputs may produce slightly different recommendations due to the non-deterministic nature of LLM output.

We surface this because trust requires honesty about limits. AlignCube is most effective when used as a structured thinking tool alongside, not instead of, your own judgment.

Your Data

Your audit data is yours. Your audits, decisions, and conversations are private to your account and are not shared with third parties for commercial purposes. If you invite organization members, they can see your shared stack records, and any public share link you create can be viewed by anyone who has the link until it expires or you revoke it.

What we store:

• Your email address and hashed password (never stored in plaintext)
• The tool lists and context you submit in each intake form
• The audit results generated from your submissions
• Your accept/reject decisions on recommendations
• Token usage logs (used for billing and capacity management)

What we send to third parties:

• Anthropic (Claude API). Your intake data and the prompts you send to the Advisor, Acquire, Support, and report features are processed by Anthropic's commercial API to generate results. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, your inputs and outputs are not used to train models by default; Anthropic may retain API content for up to 30 days for trust-and-safety purposes; where a submission is flagged under Anthropic's Usage Policy, inputs and outputs may be retained up to 2 years and classification scores up to 7 years. We minimize what is sent and do not send your password or billing details.
• Stripe. Billing and payment processing. Stripe receives your payment details and subscription status. We do not store payment card numbers.

Pricing and Billing

AlignCube is billed through Stripe, a third-party payment processor, on a monthly or, where offered, annual cycle. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period unless cancelled.

All prices are in USD. Taxes may apply depending on your jurisdiction.

You will receive a Stripe receipt each billing cycle, and a Stripe invoice bearing AlignCube LLC's legal name and address is available for your records — email [email protected] if your AP process needs one issued.

What Each Tier Includes

Features marked — are not available on that tier and will be visually indicated in the dashboard. Attempting to access them will show an upgrade prompt, not an error.

Cancellation and Refunds

You can cancel anytime. No contracts, no cancellation fees, no minimum terms. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain Monitor access through the period you've already paid for.

After cancellation your account reverts to the Free tier. Your audit history, decision log, and governance record remain intact and accessible on the free tier indefinitely. Cancelling is not account deletion — to remove active AlignCube data instead, use Usage & Plan → Delete account; limited retention follows the Privacy Policy.

Refunds. First subscription: cancel within 7 days of your first Monitor charge and email [email protected] — we refund that charge in full, no questions. Beyond that, we do not offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods. For a specific billing issue — duplicate charge, processing error, or extenuating circumstance — email us and we'll review it within 2 business days.

AlignCube is an independent software product. We are not affiliated with Anthropic, Stripe, or any of the AI tool vendors our platform evaluates. Our recommendations are generated by software and are not influenced by vendor relationships.
